F05009 – Marvellous painting, still life, vase with a bouquet of anemone flowers made by Dutch master Emanuel (Manus) van der Ven (1866 – 1944). Oil on canvas.

Manus van der Ven was born with painting as the son of the painter Emanuel Adrianus Henricus van der Ven. It was first in 1904, when he was thirty-eight years, before he established himself as an independent artist in Laren (Holland). His subjects include landscapes, figure scenes, portraits, still lifes, flowers and cityscapes. One can find his work in the Singer Museum in Laren and in the National Collection.

Clearly signed lower right “E. van der Ven”.
