Rare Societé Ceramique Maestricht green on white Boerenbont/ crescent moon dish. Made in Maastricht, Holland.
Hand painted. Clearly marked.

The crescent moon combined with the five-pointed star is widely regarded as a symbol of Islam, especially in the West.

In very good condition, minor wear by use, few small chips backside.
